I'm hoping my family can win one of the 25 dream sessions offered.
Seven years ago, my 92-year-old dad presented me with a Wancket session and portrait of my five grandchildren and myself. He wanted to show his appreciation for my assistance to him. And he knew a family portrait was the way to do it. I really enjoy the beautiful portrait hanging in my home. I also have enjoyed the wonderful comments from people who have seen it while visiting our home.
Now, it would be special to have a family portrait with myself and my husband, daughter and husband, son and wife, and five grandchildren.

Dear Audrey,
I would like to enter this contest for my mom. I will be leaving for college soon and my sister won't be far behind me and I would like to get a portrait of my sister and I for my mom. When we were little my mom got pictures of my sister and I taken by you. I would like to get a new portrait to symbolize my sister and I growing up, but that we will always be her little girls.

Hello! I have debated several times whether or not to enter your 25th anniversary contest simply because I have no profound story to tell. With this said, I still find myself coming back to your Facebook pages and website just to admire your work while struggling with the decision to enter. I am not a photographer by any means, but always have my camera in hand or close by ready to go. I think it would be fair to say that I snap photos almost daily. To me, photography is art. It is also a way to document history.
I remember when I saw your work for the very first time on a business card at a local salon...I was in awe...absolutely amazing! Your photographs are timeless. They have the ability to speak volumes through simple expressions...if that makes sense. They are, quite honestly, personal, individual, unique, pieces of art. Simply put, heirlooms.
The reason I would love to have a portrait session is because although I am passionate about photography, I have not had a family portrait taken since my third son way about a year old...he is now about to celebrate his 10th birthday in September. Additionally, 2011 is also a significant year for our family. It is a year of milestone birthdays for my children. We celebrated or will celebrate my boys turning 16, 13, 10, and our princess is going to turn 5! If milestone birthdays were not enough, we found out in May that we are expecting number 5 in January! To me, a portrait capturing this specific time in our lives would be my dream portrait. We are celebrating milestones, welcoming a new life, and completing our family.

Two years ago, Audrey captured a special moment between my two young sons that has turned into a treasured and admired portrait in our home. Now I would like to share this gift of beautiful portraiture with my own parents.
I am the oldest of three daughters. My parents have spent their whole lives giving of themselves so that their children could achieve their goals and dreams. Though neither of my parents went to college, they worked tirelessly to provide myself and my sisters with the opportunities to receive a college degree. In time, all three sisters were accepted to and attended the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. Myself and my middle sister have both since graduated, and we are proud and excited that our youngest sister will graduate this December.
To have three daughters graduate with highest honors from a wonderful University could not have happened without parental support. Though we may never be able to pay back every dollar they have invested in our education, every minute they have spent driving us to and from move-in and move-out days, or every phone call they have received the night before a big exam, we can give them a beautiful, visual memory of their own hard work as parents.
I would love nothing more than to have Audrey capture this moment in time of three college graduate daughters. My parents have always put their children's needs before their own and now it is our opportunity show our parents our gratitude through Audrey's work!

I am writing for my Grandparents! They are the most AMAZING people in the World to me. They are the rock for our family and my Heros.
My Grandparents are who I call when I’m having a bad day or when I need a favor and they NEVER hesitate to lend a hand, ear or a hug. My Grandma is in her 70's and Grandpa in his 80's, are the strongest, happiest people I know. With over 50 Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren they amaze me with the remembrance of each birthday and the unlimited out pour of Love they have for each one of us and each other. They are Best Friends and what I pray that my marriage will still look like after 26 years.
They are not getting any younger, though you would never know. I dont want that moment to pass where they are unable to get that final portrait of the two of them together happy and healthy! A memory our WHOLE family can have for the rest of our lives! Your portraits are not just that but a piece of Art that can be passed on for generations to come.
I also wouldn’t mind getting a photo of my family with them. 4 generations would be an amazing artistic piece for my wall
Something I forgot to add to my message: My cousin and I got a frame for them last year that reminded me of them and their love for each other. The quote : If you live to be 100 I hope to live 100 minus 1 day so I never have to live without you! That is the love they have for each other and I hope they are able to get a nice portrait to fill this frame.

Dear Audrey,
My sister Kindly gave me your recent mailing, celebrating your 25 years in business. Congratulations on this terrific accomplishment!
My wife and I both turned “50” this year, as well as, we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in June this year. In addition, our oldest son turned “21,” and our other kids are 19, 13, and 11.
All four of our kids are infertility babies, and after we were lucky enough to have our son and daughter, several different infertility doctors told us to love and embrace them, as we were not going to be able to have any more children. After coming to grips with that, we had a beautiful backyard family portrait taken of the four of us, which has hung in our family room in Lincolnshire, Illinois, since 1995.
We kept trying, and God truly blessed our lives with another daughter and son, however, the only problem is that they have always asked us, “When are we going to have a family photo taken, with “US” in it?” Unfortunately, with our two oldest currently in college, the staggering costs of raising our children, coupled with the challenging world we live in today, the last thing we can ever afford to spend money on is a new “complete” family portrait.
I don’t have any creative ideas for our family’s “Dream Portrait,” other than I want all six of us to be in it! From what I have seen and heard, you are the ultimate “Creative Guru,” and I think you would enjoy the unique opportunity of making our “Dream Portrait” become a reality!

I never dreamed of a portrait, but to capture history of a special relationship, now that is special.
I can picture a grandfather trying to teach his first grandson and name sake how to tie a formal tie.
We had two daughters and my husband was one of six boys. When our second grandchild was born
and it was a boy our daughter named him after her father. She said she thought she was suppose to be that
boy, and now that she had a boy, her dad would not feel slighted from his wants or hopes, or dreams of a boy.
We were at a wedding and no one could fix our grandsons tie, it was hanging out of his pocket. His father bashfully
stated he used clip-on ties. I rushed him behind a curtain and sent grampa to fix his tie. It is a picture that has stayed
in my mind of a grandfather being needed, and a grandson proud to look grown up.
